Ninja Creami - Strawberry Sorbet
Strawberry Sorbet is so easy to make in your Ninja Creami ice cream maker! My kids LOVED this recipe and we did too! Just a few simple ingredients and you’ve got an ice cream recipe that will keep you using your Ninja Creami every week!
We have this smaller Ninja Creami
The larger Ninja Creami comes with 24oz ice cream pints and even more options!
Make sure to check the tips and tricks below!
This is a sorbet recipe based in strawberries, so it is a higher carb dessert. I split it into 4 small servings to hit about 4 net carbs per serving. If you’re more on the low carb side rather than Keto, it’s totally fine to double your serving size if you’re ok with a few extra carbs
One thing I love about this recipe - it’s totally kid friendly (which also means it’s spouse friendly)! A great option if you want a sweet, cold treat for kids or grandkids!
Recipe:
1 Cup Strawberries
2 Tablespoons Sweetener
1/2 Cup Whole Milk
1/2 Cup Plain Full Fat Greek Yogurt
Blend Strawberries, sweetener, milk and yogurt until smooth.
Pour into Ninja Creami Pint (do not fill above line).
Freeze for at least 24 hours.
Blend on Lite Ice Cream
The Keto Dad Tips and Tricks:
Make sure you blend the mixture until smooth in a blender before you freeze!
Use the Lite Ice Cream option for Keto sweeteners
If your ice cream is crumbly rather than creamy, add 1 tablespoon milk and Re-Spin.
Didn’t finish your ice cream? Smooth it flat in your pint container and re-freeze!
I use Fairlife Whole Milk for the lowest carbs per serving.
There are lots of low carb yogurts available. I use Target’s Good and Gather Plain Greek Whole Milk Yogurt
