King Crab Legs
When I was younger, I had an uncle who lived in Alaska. One year he sent our family Alaskan King Crab legs for Christmas… and ever since then we’ve been hooked! They’re the perfect special dinner for our family on Christmas Day.
King crab is easy to prepare, keto friendly and absolutely packed with flavor. If you’ve never cooked crab legs at home before, don’t worry - this recipe will walk you through the process step by step. Plus, we have some delicious recipes to make with your leftovers (if you have any!).
Recipe:
2-3 lbs Alaskan King Crab legs, thawed
1 Cup water
1 Lemon, Halved
4 Tbsp Melted Butter
Fresh Parsley for garnish (optional)
Baking Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
Choose a large roasting pan or other baking pan with high sides.
Add your cup of water to the bottom for steam
Arrange the crab legs in a single layer in the pan. We usually use 2 pans
Add Lemon juice - squeeze lemons over legs
Tent with foil - to trap the steam and cook the crab legs.
Bake 12-18min or until the crab legs are heated through or 145 degrees F.
Serving
Serve with a side of melted butter to dip your crab legs
Serve with a wedge of lemon to squeeze over your crab legs.

When we’re making it for our big Christmas dinner, we usually cook half at a time so it’s hot coming out of the oven
We heat butter for each person in a bowl for dipping!
We slice lemon wedges for each person - it’s delicious to squeeze over your crab legs.
We always serve with a big side of cooked veggies and our Seven Layer Salad
